AUDIVINA offers the wide soundstage of an acoustically perfect concert hall, yet with the detail and intimacy of a jazz club, thanks to the NEO Supernano Diaphragm, Stealth Magnet Design, and a curved resonance chamber that is the finishing touch of the advanced acoustical design.

The resonance chamber design was inspired by the highly respected acoustic architecture of the Bayreuth Festival Theater in Germany, whose multi-stage attenuation contributes to the listener's experience of hearing a wide, detailed soundstage in a small, enclosed space. Sound takes a circuitous route through the chamber, creating a wide soundstage beyond what is typically associated with similarly priced products.

Acoustically Invisible Stealth Magnet

Unlike the sound waves created by a conventional magnet, the unique shape of Stealth Magnets enables the waves to pass through the magnets without generating interference.

HIFIMAN's advanced magnet design is acoustically transparent, dramatically reducing wave diffraction turbulence that degrades the integrity of the sound waves. The reduced distortion yields pure sonic output that is accurate and full-range.

Most headphones feature a Diffuse-Field design that leads to a lack of bass, so they are mostly used in limited applications such as play- backs. However, AUDIVINA's full range output eliminates resonance and introverted sound, making it the ideal replacement for a large speaker when mixing and mastering.

Accurately capturing a chamber string quartet is one of the biggest dilemmas in the studio. The significant difference in volume between the violins and cello combined with the erratic nature of the viola add

up makes it a challenge to make a proper mix. But, thanks to AUDIVINA's broad frequency response and superior dynamics, it is up to the task of reviewing the mix and assisting the engineer achieve precise equalization and overall presentation of a string quartet.

The cavity constructed of hardwood is exquisitely lacquered and feels like jade to the touch. Through the surface of the varnish, naturally formed pores are visible to the naked eye.

The name Audivina comes from the combination of the words Audi which means listening and the Sanskrit word Vina meaning sitar. The sitar is a South Asian traditional plucked string instrument. What makes it unique is that it allows a musician to adjust the position of the frets according to the piece of the music being played.
